1. Introduction

Welcome to AI Face Expression ("the App"), a Canva app developed and operated by Yippa ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

AI Face Expression allows users to change the emotion on any face photorealistically. Users can apply up to 16 different facial expressions to any face within their Canva designs.

3. Eligibility

The App is not restricted by age; however, Canva's platform minimum age applies (typically 13+ or as required by local law).

4. Account & Access

Your access to the App within Canva is tied to your Canva User ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Canva account.

5. Payments & Billing

  • The App operates on a subscription model, with a small fee tier available.
  • Payments are processed securely through Dodo Payments, not by Canva.
  • You authorize Dodo Payments to charge your preferred payment method for subscription fees.
  • No refunds are offered for any subscription cycle, including partial cycles.

6. User Content & Rights

You may upload images or generate output using the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you confirm that:

  • You own or have the right to use any image you upload.
  • You grant us a temporary license to process, modify, and store your image solely for delivering the service.
  • You may not upload content you are legally allowed to use.

You retain all ownership rights to your images. We do not claim ownership over your User Content.

7. Storage of Images

  • We store both input and output images on our servers hosted on Digital Ocean.
  • Images are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion at team@yippa.io.
  • We do not use your images for model training, marketing, or improvement of the App.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the App for:

  • Violating applicable laws
  • Creating misleading or fradulent content
  • Harming or exploiting minors
  • Uploading content that infringes copyrights
  • Generating malicious deepfakes
  • Abuse, harassment, or impersonation

We reserve the right to suspend access for violations.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with:

  • Nano Banana — for photorealistic image generation.
  • Dodo Payments — for subscription payments.
  • Digital Ocean — for secure storage of user images and analytics data.

Use of these services is subject to their respective privacy and security policies.

10. No Warranties (As-Is Service)

You agree that:

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not gurantee accurate or correct image outputs.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the images you upload.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability in any dispute will not exceed the total amount you paid in the last 3 months.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (Karnataka). Disputes must be resolved in the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time without notice. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
